Come Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Don’t miss the festivities on May 1, 2019, when Disney’s Hollywood Studios celebrates its 30thyear anniversary. Beginning at 10am, Mickey and the gang will get the party started in a star- studded celebration cavalcade down Hollywood Blvd. Be sure to snag a 30thyear commemorative park map and button at the entrance and check out the anniversary merchandise. Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens at 9am, but you can start shopping at 8am, at Grand Park, where you will find anniversary merchandise like, a new adult T-shirt, baseball cap, Tervis 24-oz tumbler, MagicBand, ornament and much more.
Of course, no party would be complete without food. Throughout the park you will find yummy treats, like Kylo Ren Cupcakes, Incredibles Macarons, Tres Leches Verrine and many more.
The evening will be filled with some special anniversary events. Starting at 9:05p.m. “Wonderful World of Animation”, the parks new nighttime projection show will debut. The Chinese Theatre will magically light up in a stirring tribute to animation, highlighting unforgettable moments from “Sleeping Beauty,” “The Incredibles,” and “Coco”, and many more. Following the show, be sure to stick around for the park’s “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” fireworks.

Just can’t get enough 30thanniversary celebrating? A Disney After Hours Event Night has been added to the May 1 schedule. Plan ahead by purchasing tickets. This late-night experience will provide no-wait on some of the parks greatest attractions, including The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Toy Story Land attractions and more. Also, take advantage of the opportunity to grab a selfie with some of your favorite Disney characters, who will be hanging out in the Chinese Theatre Courtyard, at Star WarsLaunch Bay. Finally, don’t miss the special encore performance of “Wonderful World of Animation” taking place that evening.
