Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland has always been a world on the move. The challenge is, what year in the future to move it to? It’s probably not the most perfect of all the lands, but there are attractions worthy of consideration. Space Mountain, Autopia, Buzz Lightyear, and Star Toursare all found here. There all fun. The monorailalso comes right through the heart of it. You can take it from outside the Disneyland Hotel.

Just a word about Nemo’s Submarine Voyage. Magic Kingdom had 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Its departure is a loss—but not at Disneyland. The original voyage through liquid space not only endures—it’s pretty cool—especially with the added component of the characters from Finding Nemo. Check it out—probably at the beginning of the day before the park becomes crowded—as it is a slow boarding attraction.

Speaking of slow—The Disneyland Railroadoffers a station here as it slowly circles the entire park. It’s a great place to board as guests are treated to a unique attraction: The Grand Canyon and Primeval World. If you love dinosaurs, this is the place to find it—even if you have to ironically go through Tomorrowland to access one of the four stations, the others being Main Street, U.S.A., New Orleans Square, and Mickey’s Toontown.

And at the end of the day—check out Tomorrowland at night with a spin on theAstro Orbiter. This land is beautiful at night. The ride sits at the entrance to this land, and offers stunning views of not only this land but also the park at night—a time of day that was Walt’s favorite. It just might be one amazing way to see the fireworks at night.
